Clinical Evidence
We're proud that our innovation is backed by clinical evidence and case studies. Below are some of our clinical evidence and case study feedback.
2025 - Milan Rezum Recovery - CURRENTLY ONGOING
A local study in Milan, Italy, to trial if cymactive™ has better patient outcomes for those who are recovering from the Rezum procedure - soon to be updated once published data is available.
2023: IN VITRO ENCRUSTATION STUDY
Outcome: The cymactive™ bladder management system showed that for the duration of the test (96h) it was able to resist encrustation and blockage by Pr. mirabilis in a glass bladder model system.
2023 - User Engineering Trial
Outcome: Despite differing from a standard Foley Catheter, the device led to no ‘User Errors’ and only minor expected clarifications, indicating ease of use and clarity for Healthcare Professionals.
2018 - Argentina Study
Outcome: 80% showed good tolerance to the device, with 95% successful valve openings and closing of more than 1500 voids. 0% of urinary infections during this pilot.
2016: Safety and efficacy of a patient-controlled bladder management system for treating urinary retention in men: Bladder Management System
Outcome: This pilot study demonstrated it is potentially useful, convenient, and safe for appropriate patients. 95% successful valve openings and closing of more than 1400 voids and minimal leakage.
